• Multimedia Production

What is multi-media? It’s the combination of copy, graphics, audio and/or video in some form of communications package such as a website, presentation, CD, etc. It usually involves at least two senses: sight and hearing. The more creative multi-media can involve smell and touch.

  • Websites – The normal form is building a website with copy and photos. Some companies are starting to insert sound and video. However, if you’re aiming at home computer systems, you still need to take the 56K modem into account. How many clicks will it take to get your website visitor to where they want to be?
  • Presentations – Are you PowerPoint wiz that uses all the slide transitions and sounds? The answer is “no”. Presentations should be simple. You can make PowerPoint work for you with photos, animation and video and not look cheesy. There are ways to learn this, and it starts with having a professional guide you.
  • CD Packages – Video CD, standard CD’s and DVD’s are the major multimedia packages. But what you use depends on who you want to view the package. Again, animation, graphics, sound, photos, video — any combination of them – is the way to go.
  • Video Production – Multi-media uses video differently from the standard video production. Can you guess why? We’ll leave that with you to answer. Or call us or e-mail us for the answer.
