It’s amazing how the “nuclear option” has reared its head again in this day of climate change and greenhouse gas awareness. Canada has a pretty good track record with the manufacture of nuclear power plants, and even use the technology in Canada.  The US also uses nuclear power, and it’s quite well used overseas in countries like France.  So it’s not an unknown, unused technology.
